The only application that does work to this printer is OpenOffice. I chose to
print its output to a .ps file and saw that it correctly identified the
language as level 1 and created the postscript file itself. First few lines of

I have the same problem using Kubuntu and a Fuji-Xerox docuprint C525A printer
on a network. My operating system is KDE 3.5.9
I have printed the job, it has printed successfully but then leaves a job

Problem solved. The partition which contained root ran short of drive
space. Freed some up, and everything works as it should.
Maybe some kind of warning check for that might be an idea.

Someone who knows Thunar well should check this and make sure these code
paths aren't also used for anything that might care about group/world
write if the user's umask permits it. To me it looks pretty safe,
though.

nautilus does nothing special on video but totem install a code to add a
video properties tab to nautilus and that seems to be this one creating
the issue, are you sure you get the bug if totem-gstreamer is not
installed? did you try?

Ok, as I debugged this with Michael yesterday:
The bug, as it was reported, is about the failure messages sent to the
console by network-manager. This is due to n-m not being able to cope
with the hal and dbus shutdown through sendsigs, because own init
scripts are missing, to shut the services
