The difference here is, that eclipse crashes, when I'm attached to the

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
Ubuntu was shipping a pre-released Debian version, so all Ubuntu changes have
either been abandoned by the maintainer or incorporated in Debian.
I can confirm that even with udisks 1.01-1ubuntu1 automount oes not work. I

In my case, I installed ubuntu using Dave's patched 64-bit-desktop-Image and
installed the GRUB in the ubuntu partition.
Then I added the boot flag manually to sda3, where ubuntu was installed to.
And ubuntu still doesn't appear in rEFIt (only OS X and Windows)...

Here's two attachments, both of which are samples from tail -f
/var/log/debug. The first one is when my touchpad is working, but I have
to use a lot of finger directly in contact with the touchpad for this to
happen.
