I have this bug too. The mp3 player is samsung YP-U3. I added the lines
to get it recognized as a player by Rhythbox (in fact it does appear)
but when I send some mp3 (I can't understand why some mp3 do that but
some others don't) onto it, it tells me about this problem.

I do not know if this is still an issue, as it was a laptop of a friend.
I just reinstalled the OS and told him not to put it in suspend mode

I'm experiencing this on my desktop. top says that virtual memory usage
is stable at about 374m. The desktop doesn't have a UPS attached to it,
however I did for some time have a wireless mouse/kb attached, and it

I just tried again to suspend my laptop computer by closing the lid --
and I discovered that the problem has disappeared :-) Maybe one of the
(kernel?) updated has solved this problem (see bve's comment #27).

OK, so it should be possible to get a backtrace with gdb. Could you try running
gdb --args ./utls/jscal -c /dev/input/js0
(from the joystick-20051019 directory), then typing
run
at the gdb prompt? When jscal crashes gdb should stop it and tell you about the
crash; typing
bt
at that

when I installed deluge there was no message telling me it had been
successfully installed
I might be affected by this bug as well.
Apart from the laptop getting really, really hot, symptoms include CPU
frequency down scaling once the laptop gets too hot which results in
really poor performance. The CPU stops scaling up and stays at 800 Mhz.

The Ubuntu version works great on my mbp but can someone create an .iso
for Linux Mint 9 Main 64 bit edition, please? This is the distro I
