I have a same problem with NetworkManager i.e. when I try connecting to
wireless network, it accepts password but after a while it repeats the
question(endlessly). I tried MSI Wind U100 with Ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04. Wireless
router is Linksys Wrt54gl(original firmware) and network I am

The workaround in the package description does NOT work for me.
If I write this in a terminal before running the program it does work,
though:
export PYTHONPATH=/usr/lib/pitivi/python
Would seem to be necessary to write that in the global environment
somewhere to make it work from the menus.

Hi Chuck,
It was just a once-off thing. I had to reboot and run a partial upgrade
to finish off the process, and after that I messed around with
auto.master again (I think I had to reapply my changes to it to get my
old version back again) and all was fine.

Attached patch allows /etc/init/ssh.conf to use also the SSHD_OPTS from
/etc/default/ssh. So it doesn't matter how sshd is started (but it
should be clarified for the future!)

Aha. It seems that this is specific to VGA outputs. I've run into bug
#600116 (filed separately to attach all the relevant information and
because it's different hardware) performing the steps with a VGA
connector attached, but not a DVI/DisplayPort connection.

I followed http://linux-vserver.org/Upstart_issues regarding this
problem in connection with VServer and upstart. It fixed it.
I don't know if this sheds any light over a possible way to do things,
but I hope so :)

Complaining to Thailand is all well and good, but you can get stuff like this
just trying to use apt-cacher-ng or other local cacheing proxies. The problem
isn't that the proxy is caching bad data. The problem is that stuff in
/var/lib/apt/lists is
corrupted and even when the proxy is removed
