I just updated this morning (Maverick Beta!) and then tried it, and
virt-manager crashed again. I'm using version 0.8.4-3ubuntu6. If there's

Thanks Igor and Peter, those are indeed very surprising news, I was just
few seconds to reboot and start the fedora install.I guess I was very
hot headed yesterday, (it's not fun when you have to kill your working
session many times a day).
I haven't tried the kernel options you mention Igor,
I do not changed the directory from /srv/tftp to /var/lib/tftpboot.
I only added the --secure option and checked the content and permissions of
the new directory (they were all ok).
Maybe, the two directory are equals after the upgrade and the old
/var/lib/tftpboot can be deleted but I have not

finally i was able to create a working config. i found out that the error is
not present in 2.6.32 but in 2.6.32.21
now im bisecting between these two versions.

I can confirm the bug re-occurs on Lucid. After building and applying
Tony's patch above, I was able to enable dual-screen once again.
I haven't had any crashes or lockups yet.

Pretty much, though for me reordering the init scripts wasn't enough as
there was some delay between the time nslcd (the LDAP cache daemon) was
started and it being operational.

I haven't been able to reproduce either of these, are you still having
these issues recently? Are they easily reproducible? If so, would you

fixes them?

So sorry for that, In deed that page is quiet hard to go with, I'll try to
rephrase it:
If the problem still exists, then we need two files that would help the
developers to understand and fix that bug.
these files are going to be extracted form your system to your Home directory.
