Bryce, Have you tried 'sudo stop qemu-kvm' or 'sudo service qemu-kvm
stop'? Those worked for me on 10.04 when I needed to run VirtualBox
instead, no reboot needed. Restart by replacing 'stop' with 'start'.

I disabled the plugin, which maximize the window when you move them to the edge
of the screen, but no diffrenece.
The only way, I can move windows to bottom screen is to grab them with alt

openoffice here, and I'm unable to reassign it to Okular.
When trying to print in Libreoffice to file, symptoms are simmilar to

I tried to generate the Libreofice crash report. After enabling apport

Public bug reported:
Touchpad does not work at all with default install of Ubuntu. Adding
the option acpi=off to kernel fixes the problem, but breaks several
other things.
Tried various methods found online and suggested by helpful users on
forums. All of the techniques below were tried alone
