When importing a PDF with inkscape 0.48.4, cairo 1.12.2 and poppler
0.20.5 (Ubuntu 12.10 with these upgraded packages), I am still seeing
gradients being incorrectly imported.

I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 dev with xserver-xorg-core 2:1.13.2-0ubuntu1.
Normally using X -help works without a problem as user. If a non-
existing option is used X will show the help too - but just if the user
has enough permissions:

Evince correctly displays this and other PDFs that have gradients that
fail to import correctly into inkscape, so the remaining issue looks
like it's not with poppler (which evince uses).

There should be no need to pass --datadir, it's just that __init__.py
should be created in a Makefile and not by autoconf, which is doing what
is expected of it.

I'm running into issues while installing Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (64-bit) server
edition on a HP Proliant DL585 G1 server.
When I boot the server with the installation CD and go for Install Ubuntu
from the graphical boot menu, the system freezes with a grey screen.
