after an dist-upgrade removed unity and i reinstalled it unity doesnt load

it just shows a black screen. i can start a terminal with ctrl-alt-t which
brings up the terminal with decorations etc.

worse: both signed and unsigned kernels now fail. This seems to fit if
the bug is in shim's own image verification - between the raring version
of shim and shim 0.4, upstream has changed to use its internal SB

attention to the actual error messages. Turns out I shot myself in the
foot when I decided to safe some disk space a couple of weeks ago. Deep
down in my gut I knew it was a stupid idea to merge all identical files
by hardlinking

This actually affects users when there is a partition on hard driver with
install image (for recovery use for example). If deleting this partition is not
an option, user can never boot into CDROM.
I think it will be great if efi grub application can be able to know which

We're using https://github.com/ariya/phantomjs/tree/1.7 , the recent
traces are just from machines that are running phantomJS, we have been
seeing crashes on other servers without phantomjs but I only have the
kernel you compiled for us running on those servers since they crash the
most frequent
it doesnt matter how slow is computer as mentioned in the bug
description. Its happening on simple pages (e.g. on this one) on i7
with 8gb ram and SSD so the PC slowness is not an issue. It looks like
the touchpad is sending scroll events even after you lift the fingers up
from touchpad.

Packets were dropped probably because of low memory, and receiver
overruns usually
