I just did upgrade from 18.10 to 19.04 and had the same problem. I am
not sure what's the damage done. After rebooting I had to manually run
`apt autoremove` to remove the old packages. I haven't tested other
things yet that I depend on.

Jason, I checked the sha256 sum of the ISO. It is correct. I also tried
setting nomodeset in the live USB and then booting. It didn't hang then
but nothing really happened, it didn't start the installation. I could
see the screen and move the mouse around but no option to start the
installation.
I am trying to boot from a 16.04 live USB and it is hanging up when I
say "Install Ubuntu" or "Try Ubuntu without installing". Will there be a
new ISO released with the fix?

Gtk2 but for Oneiric, apport has been ported to Gtk3 using GI. I tried

Another option is to use xwd and xwdtopnm utilities but it doesn't work
the way it should.
However, there is a screenshot taking application Shutter, it also
provides the capability of pointing at a window and taking its
screenshot. Its written in Perl and I cannot read Perl code :)
As far as taking screenshot is concerned, how about this ?

believe, it should have displayed an error that I need to run the server
as root in order to bind to a port less than 1024, rather than stupidly
say server started.

On specifying any value less than 1024 for the -c option of
tomcat6-instance-create, the server instance does not work as expected. It gets
configured and gets started, but pages won't load in the browser.

Sorry, running tomcat6-instance-create as root, solved the issue. But I
believe, it should have displayed an error that I need to run the server
as root in order to bind to a port less than 1024, rather than stupidly
say server started.

Changed the bug report. It should at least give a warning before
starting the server, that without root privileges it won't be able to
serve pages. (Running server as root is not such a good idea, but in
case someone wants to ).

Hi,
I made some additions to the code. So now, in case if there are no search
results found in the selected Notebook, the user will be shown a Messagebox,
where he is asked if he would like to search in All the Notebooks. If the
user's response is Yes, then the search is performed again,
I guess, the message box solution is too obtrusive. It unnecessarily
takes away the focus.
Scott suggested to display a message in the search results area along
with a button to search again in all the notes. But I am not a gtk#
hacker. So I don't know if something like that can be done without
