Not able to reproduce this after reboot, get the modal dialog but
messaging screen has SIM selector--wondering if it has something to do
with how the conversation is initiated? Any logs I can pull?

I could only use my volume keys when I clicked the sound indicator in

I have a node.js app that accesses mariadb via ssl. Before I updated
ubuntu a few weeks ago everything ran fine. In fact, the node.js code
runs correctly on windows and mac but on Linux I get the following now.

I have this problem as well with 14.04. The eject button in Nautilus
works as I can see the device unmount from /media/username/DeviceName,
then it immediately remounts. There are no errors with using sudo
umount /media/username/DeviceName, however the device will also
remount.
