Public bug reported:
not sure what exactly happened, I uninstalled it and it never totally
went. So, when I tried reinstalling it, I was told it was broken
ProblemType: Package
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04
Package: libreoffice-common 1:6.4.5-0ubuntu0.20.04.1
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu
Same bug here, with Ubuntu 16.04 and kernel 4.15.0-43 (LTS enablement
stack) using Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics
Controller (primary) (rev 0c) on DELL inspiron 1525.
Tried with liveusb ubuntu 18.04.1 and same symptoms.
Under Ubuntu 16.04, adding "video=SVIDEO-1:d"
://paste.ubuntu.com/p/Fb6CKThqwF/
c) Then I'm downgrading 'cmd2' packages to v.0.6.8, everything is fine.
Obviously, something is broken here...

Annie

I have integrated sound hda-intel but it shows up as realtek acl889a I
installed linux-backports-modules-alsa-karmic and rebooted. I can hear
the sound now but it is reversed and I have a feeling that this bug and
bug #275289 may be somehow connected.

I use ubuntu 9.10 and I have the same integrated realtek sound. I was
unable to have any sound at all until I applied the mentioned in bug
#462821. The sound works now but the channels are reversed. I have a
strange feeling that these two bugs are somehow connected.

I agree, the current method for crash reporting is extremely annoying. No user
should be forced to login in order to report a bug.
I also think that instead of being asked to search through the database, that
the bug reporting application should be smart enough that it doesnt require any
work
I have the same problem in a 64 bit Jaunty installation using Microsoft
wireless entertainment keyboard 7000 and wireless laser mouse 8000
