[Bug 447319] Re: New upstream version 2.28.0

2009-10-12 Thread Fabio Berta
Any chance this will me make it into karmic? Would make sense to me to include the version of gnome-shell matching to the gnome release (2.28). -- New upstream version 2.28.0 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/447319 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which

[Bug 285874] [NEW] should use policykit instead of gksu

2008-10-19 Thread Fabio Berta
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: system-cleaner Wouldn't it be better then for a new application to go straight to PolicyKit instead of gksu? I thought the goal is to kill gksu from the default setup. ** Affects: system-cleaner (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New

[Bug 285878] [NEW] purge packages instead of remove

2008-10-19 Thread Fabio Berta
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: system-cleaner Wouldn't it be better to purge the packages i chose to remove in system- cleaner? Right now it just removes them, ergo some config files are still lying around. Or at least give an option to purge? ** Affects: system-cleaner (Ubuntu)

[Bug 203455] Re: Match progress bar with Clearlooks/Murrine one

2008-10-18 Thread Fabio Berta
I think this bug is valid again. Since in intrepid afaik murrine is default (at least it is now). So I think it is important for usplash to match colors! ** Changed in: usplash-theme-ubuntu (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid = New -- Match progress bar with Clearlooks/Murrine one

[Bug 203455] [NEW] Match progress bar with Clearlooks/Murrine one

2008-03-18 Thread Fabio Berta
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: usplash-theme-ubuntu Since we're now using Clearlooks or Murrine as the systems gtk engine, it would make sense to adjust usplash to match this. Specifically the progress bars should use the same colors and style as the Clearlooks or Murrine ones. Of

[Bug 106207] restricted-manager adds AddARGBVisuals and stuff to wrong section

2007-04-13 Thread Fabio Berta
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: restricted-manager It seems to me that restricted-manager adds all these optiones like AddARGBVisuals to the Device section instead of the Screen section! nvidia-xconfig adds them to the Screen section so I guess thats the right place for them! **

[Bug 106207] Re: restricted-manager adds AddARGBVisuals and stuff to wrong section

2007-04-13 Thread Fabio Berta
Well ok. But wouldn't it be more consistent to add it to the same section as nvidia does? -- restricted-manager adds AddARGBVisuals and stuff to wrong section https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106207 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug

[Bug 106207] Re: restricted-manager adds AddARGBVisuals and stuff to wrong section

2007-04-13 Thread Fabio Berta
That's right, but if for some reason someone already has entries of nvida-xconfig in the screen section from an older setup and restricted- manager then adds them to the device section, you end up with doubled entries. (That's what has happened to me) -- restricted-manager adds AddARGBVisuals

Please ignore my last comment! My /etc/crypttab was fucked up... I can configm Lennart's observations; It's working with luks devices but not with the old ones! Also one problem remains for me. If I have the quiet parameter in the boot options my keyboard is just not working during the boot
