That's an odd problem; marmuta will probably look into it when he gets

In the meantime, you might be able to resize Onboard by installing the
gconf-editor and manually changing Onboard's size values.

anything: Could you please navigate with nautilus to the folder /usr/bin
and check whether the following two files have their executable bit set?

You might try the following: Go to the Edit menu of a nautilus window
and choose Preferences. In the Behaviour tab, set the option Executable

I have seen this bug in Ubuntu utopic too.
As a work around, you can enable the option Show floating icon when
Onboard is hidden in the General tab of the Onboard Preferences window.
This way, you can make Onboard reappear by clicking on the floating

shipping with the development version of ubuntu trusty. Thus, I am back
to using synaptic 0.75 on trusty.
