You have to do that again.
Press 'a'
Try to do horizontal scrolling and use the bottom portion only. Show that your
horizontal scroll doesn't work.
Press 'a'
Then press Ctrl-Z
Note:: not to create any noise in the log file, by moving your pointer
unnecessarily in the window.

Thanks for reporting the bug. I see Ahmed has been triaging the bug and seeks
some opinion regarding this bug.
I have seen you Devices file and it reports you touchpad correctly. Doesn't
matter though Horizontal scroll problems aren't related to kernel generally. I
hope now you know
Also try to add a screenshot of your mouse settings depicting that you
have correctly enabled horizontal scroll.
More, type in your terminal the following
synclient -m ~/synclient

Whenever I try to set circular scroll settings to 'right middle'
initiation, it works perfect. Now I can initiate circular scroll form
the right edge only but after roboot the settings again resets to all
four edges initiation.
