Don't get me wrong, I don't want to sound cynical but I have no 16GB RAM, I
have a laptop with 2GB and the reason I use Akonadi and Nepomuk is TO FIND
STUFF FAST, not wait some weeks.

This is a packaging problem in Ubuntu, so it's safe to close here.
(The problem is that an older version of kate can't use the newer
kate-text-editor module -- kate

Can confirm the same bug in 9.04 and after upgrade to 9.10 the same bug is
