Same issue with a Philips 220WS8FB and a DELL optiplex 755 Intel GMA.

I have launch lubuntu from a usb hard drive and I was able to go up to

This theme is based on somewhat on the Impression theme by John Baer
with a considerable amount of modifications and code reduction. The
colors should be unified and easy on the eyes.

I'm with Robert- this seems like a design flaw to me. I've got an
atheros wireless card, so every time the kernel is updated, I have to
hook up a switch and update linux-restricted over the wire. For me,
it's not really that big of a deal, but I could never set my parents up
