Tested today with fully updated Lubuntu Oneiric, recoll starts as
expected (no segmentation fault) and is in the process of indexing my

button works out of the box.

No need to restart the machine to reproduce the problem. Once you have set the
panel to autohide, just restart lxpanel: run this terminal command and then
wait for several seconds; then mouse over the panel to cause it to pop into
view:
lxpanelctl restart

bamfdaemon crashed with SIGABRT in
this problem occurred on my eeepc 901 after launching gnome power
manager, before i made any changes. in the past this same problem
happened more frequently but apps are apparently crashing less as Natty
improves from week to week

go to terminal and run df -h when the system language is set to french
(possibly the same problem occurs in other languages). the column
headings are too far to the right so they do not match up to the columns
they are intended to correspond
quadrapassel is causing my machine to show unusual memory-usage
statistics (according to topand system monitor):
when it crashes, quadrapassel has a memory usage of about 36mb according
to top. top and system monitor show the total memory used by the system
at about 100% of 1GB physical memory

controller line 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation
System Controller Hub (SCH Poulsbo) Graphics Controller (rev 07).
if i start up UNE, i see
