Same here; trying to install an Ubuntu VM, but stuck at the graphical
Installer boot menu.
I notice that my cursor changes to a dot (like I would usually see in
VNC) when I hover over the console, but I'm unable to actually issue any
keystrokes or mouse clicks to the console.
