also we have the problem that we use virtuozzo (openvz) and when we
install hdparm we got an error, too:

i think the cron job fstrim should be in a separate package (depends
hdparm).

i have the same problem with openvz too. reason is, that the task procps
return code 255. i have now fix the upstart task.
in the file /etc/init/procps.conf i muster append
normal exit 0 TERM 255
to get the error code you can use:
cat /etc/sysctl.d/*.conf /etc/sysctl.conf | sysctl -e -p -
so i have test you new version.
# dpkg -i procps_3.3.3-2ubuntu5.2_amd64.deb

i use 4.1.2 now. but at the moment i have install gnome i have the same problem
with konqueror.
klipper i don't use.
u can reproduce it. install gnome or kde4. install all updates. mark a
text in konqueror from some news site or what u want. copy ist into the
adress bar or a text editor an u see
when i mark a text in konqueror (website) and pres ctrl-c it won't copy.
i musst use the right click und select copy. the same in konsole. when i
mark a text in the adress line and press than ctrl-c it will copied. the
same work with form in websites like textarea or input.

i have reinstall the complete server without success, again.
I think ne network-bridge work fine and the vif-brigde won't work correctly.
