Facing the same problem as others even up to latest build as of February
8th. Having machines with 4 physical hard disk installed.
Take out 3 of the disks, leaving one for boot. Run the bootdisk and was
able to install.

I haven't face any of the same previous problems since 11.10.
p/s: Do face the same problems with Linux Mint that were base as per
10.10 and 11.04. Didn't know of any subsequent problems with later
release as I didnt test them.

Install LDM in OneIric, set it as default login manager. Able to go to
LDM, logs in and crashed. It reboots after passing the LDM. At least
it's able to see the login page compared to GDM
