libdmtx has been packaged for Jaunty as requested in bug #269468, but it
has not been backported to Hardy or Intrepid. Please backport it to
both. The package builds and runs fine on Hardy with the backports
repository enabled.

There is a new upstream version of libdmtx available, version 0.6.0.
This release requires GraphicsMagick to build. I have attached the
.diff.gz from my first attempt at packaging it.
