A new xorg version has been installed yesterday 14.02.2018.
I could make a video of the problem on my screen before that installation, and

The bug as posted is still active with the new version.

Dear all,
When trying to start an LXC container with Xenial on both host and
container, if sys_admin capability is dropped (lxc.cap.drop = sys_admin
in the config file), the container fails to start, because systemd fails
to mount the cgroup filesystem in the container. The
A pity this is not yet solved. Other packages dependencies that could be
added are:
python-rarfile
pstotext
python-libxml2
python-libxslt1

Dear all,
We have also faced such issue while migrating some servers from Ubuntu 14.04.5
to Ubuntu 16.04.3. Are there any plans to get a correct fix so that we can
properly plan our migration to Xenial?
Meanwhile, we used the workaround provided by Brian Candler - thanks! - which
works well.
I have this error too, I run it with usb-creator-gtk -i

When I close the laptop lid, pm-action runs the following code which I
have added:
sh -c "echo 0 > /sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm" # clear alarm
sh -c "echo `date '+%s' -d '7am next day + 30 minutes'` >
/sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm" # set alarm

Thanks gcotnoir, it's a nice workaround while the bug gets looked into.

Hi,
I just uploaded 1.2.14-1 to Debian.
I'm not the Ubuntu maintainer, so I cannot tell you when it will be
updated in Ubuntu.
