[iwl4965] wireless support broken
I'm getting a problem which I think is related:
with an updated Hardy, the wifi connect button is grayed out in NM, with wifi
button on or off.
This only happens with kernels 2.6.24-12-generic and 2.6.24-12-386 .
I had to install in order to install VirtualBox. I'd even see that as a blocker

This bug persists in the 7.10 (Gutsy) Ubuntu Live CD I've just

It would be nice to have it fixed for Hardy, as the live CD is the entry

On an Acer Aspire 1640Z, I have two buttons: one for bluetooth on the left
which isn't supposed to do anything (this model doesn't have bluetooth), and
one for wifi which lights up in orange when wifi is activated on Windows.
On Ubuntu, it seems to have an effect on wifi, but it doesn't light up
We could assign Epowermanagement to the Energy Manager and the other one to
Gnome Settings.
Or offer a simple way to assign them to a special place during installation.
