Ok, copying my workarounds here and closing the other report:
Volume Group metadata had to be upgraded manually with
vgck --updatemetadata yourvgname
The VG name was somehow changed from lvm-name to just name and I had to
edit /etc/crypttab and update-initramfs -u -k all

I've found a clue. It's a server with limited bandwidth and it's

Oh, thanks, looks like it's ok to work with. Now the main problem is

Tried with multiple djvu files on two machines. It's just showing a GUI
warning (!) "Could not open 'file.djvu'." and
Unknown MIME type: "image/vnd.djvu+multipage"
"Could not match file type of 'file.djvu'!"
in stderr.
It's also showing
Could not load plug-in in first
16.04, Plasma 5.6.5. Unchecking "Close when last application stops using
it" doesn't help.

What conditions are required for the cryptsetup to fail in any way when
