I can confirm this bug and that debian is not affected. I installed the
debian package (also had to install libjpeg62-turbo) as a workaround and
now the file libjfxwebview.so is there and javafx applications with
WebView do work. IMO this should be marked as very important, show
stopper or
I'm on Ubuntu 12.04 and played around with zenity.
i ran zenity --list foo bar --text dialogtext --column=foocol --column barcol
when it happened.
It opens and i can select entries, but it segfaults every time when i click
cancel, ok or the close button.

With a workaround i can not select the input device of my Mackie ProFX
12 mixer to be able to record from it.
I opened pavucontrol and went to the configuration tab. There i changed the
profile of the mixer device 'PCM2903B Audio Codec' to from 'Analog Stereo
Duplex' to 'Analog Stereo Output +

I experience the same problem on Ubuntu 12.04. I used a guest session to verify
that it's not a problem with my user profile.
It's happening with all applications. gnome-terminal doesn't show at all, but i

OK I'm about to test the upstream kernel now. Before i do that i wanted
to find a way to reliably reproduce it and power cycled my connected USB
MIDI synth. While doing that another protection fault occured which
looks like it is caused by ALSA.
I reported that one here:

Rhythmbox doesn't play music too. But vlc works. Last time i apt-get
upgraded was three days ago. After upgrading today rhythmbox stopped
