I have the same problem with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Linux 2.6.32-22-generic
x86_64, Logitech MX 300. Mouse freezes for 1-2 seconds, then works
again. From syslog, I can see mouse disconnecting and connecting again.

Dave Martin, it's much worse than that. In not-uncommon printer
configuration, sending a US-letter job to printer requires physically

Can't create subfolders in Thunderbird 2 using IMAP connection to UW-
IMAP server.
To reproduce:

kernel. It has to do with Timidity opening the snd_rtctimer module. Now
I just need to figure out how to run timidity without disabling

My problem was bypassed by updating BIOS and using USB ports on the
motherboard. At least the USB drive was automatically mounted after
that.

0. Booted from Gutsy Desktop i386 (final), on Acer Travelmate 3000. Using Live
CD from external firewire DVD/CDROM.
1. Quit (on gnome panel): Susped
Computer goes to suspend, fan is turned off, suspend light lit.

Seems to wake up normally.

Same problem with Gutsy 7.10 final.
I just tried this on amd64 Gutsy Desktop. When I install software using
Firefox: Addons: Get Ubuntu Addons, they are no longer shown as
available for install but are not installed either.
