Having severe issues with Gedit in Ubuntu 12.10.

Actually I got some life signs. I logged into a failsafe terminal and did sudo
pm-suspend. When I resumed I could vaguely make out my terminal window, it's
just that the screen is completely dimmed. Inn the terminal however I could not
run any command, just getting an Input/Output error.

I have this problem all the time in many different applications, in
OpenOffice, Firefox 3 and Abiword. I haven't had the problem in Skype,
does it have anything todo with that Skype uses qt4 and not GTK?

No progress at all? Thankfully I have a wireless adapter so I can still

tested if it does matter how long the computer have been shutted of or
if you run it on battery power or not? Perhaps disabling power saving

My fstab looked like this (before and) after the upgrade:
/dev/hdb1 /media/hdb1 ext3

so I changed it to:

beagle. The description of the two are the same but the title
differs.

I don't know exactly how to explain this but I will do my best.
When I start my computer and get an X-error I login to a console (like
CTRL+F2) to fix it. This works perfectly, but when I have runned sudo
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg the text in the dialog (I use swedish)

After the last updates (that fixed bug #87979) I can't no longer find
Synaptic at all in gnome-app-install. Could this be related to bug
#87979?

In gnome-app-install I got two entries of Package Manager Synaptic
when I list all installed software.
I'm running Feisty Fawn (everything is updated to the max).

I don't know why but the menus I get from installing software through
wine appears as categories in gnome-app-install. I'm currently on my
Feisty Fawn system and the problem wasn't there before in Edgy Eft.

Close this bug please. This error was solved when sudo apt-get install
ubiquity was runned.

I have tried both with my own computer and also with Qemu but each time
I try to install Ubuntu 7.04 (20070111.1) the screen turns black as I
press Forward at the Keyboard layout -section in Ubiquity.
I have also tried to install via safe graphics mode but it didn't
help.

I just went through the installation of Ubuntu Feisty Fawn (20060111.1)
and when I came to the partitioning part it just searched through the
harddrives for a while and then crashed with:
File /usr/lib/ubiquity/bin/ubiquity, line 185, in ?

I think has something todo with the bridging i think. I have the same
problem so I just go with network-dummy configuration for Xen.
My second problem is that my computer freezes (running with Xenman) when
I try to start a DomU (i think it's called). When i run from the
terminal i get some error
