Интересно... А сколько времени вы используете такой способ. Волнует

Не, калибровку старую убери.
Попробуй посмотреть, что тебе теперь xinput list-props 9 выдает.
Может, там параметры какие новые появились. Если не появились,
попробуй заново откалибровать, с разными параметрами поиграться.
Может, в ядре модуль для HID обновить.

устройства - палец, перо и обратная сторона пера)? то их каждое
отдельно калибровать придется, жестко указывая xinput-calibrator с
каким устройством работать параметром командной строки.

через самбу, то покажите конфиг smb.conf
Для ipp надо соотв. смотреть cupsd.conf (по дефолту доступ есть только
с localhost).
В случае ipp можно печатать и без samba.
Ну и, конечно, проверить - печатает ли с самого компа на локальный принтер ;)

В общем, если кому пригодится мой костыль, то я поставил в cron на
запуск раз в минуту скрипт
PuTTY в Windows и gnome-terminal в Linux и Windows
(ssh+X11-forwarding) - подобных симптомов не наблюдаю.

After install fglrx video driver and turn off plymouth boot splash laptop power
down normally.
So, it`s radeon kernel driver or plymouth bug, maybe.

I'we got same messages for rhythmbox, gedit, palimpsest and totem
desktop-files. This apps isn`t presents in application menu and not
assigned to file types. Desktop files look as valid.

If I enable autologin in gdm, gwibber try use localized keyring name. In
ru_RU locale it is по умолчанию instead default. I can`t find this
string in launchpad russian translations in gwibber package, so it is
translated in another place, maybe.

Thank you, Jelle Foks. Your workaround works for me. In my case not only
power manager icon dissapear (if I remember this propertly, now I use
AWN notification applet instead gnome-panel), but after disable gnome-
power notifications issue was gone.

Upd: Empty space beetween icons appear after run applications without
notification area icon support (browser, terminal, file manager, etc.).
This happens also in AWN (avant window navigator) notification area, so,
it`s not gnome-panel package bug, maybe. But in AWN notification area
existing
