The lag you describe is usually a connection issue in my experience, try moving the receiver closer to the mouse itself (using a USB extension cable for example) and make certain that no other 2.4ghz sources can interfere with the dongle On Thu, Nov 6, 2008 at 6:19 PM, buzz [EMAIL PROTECTED]

[Bug 285006] Re: no auto-mount for USB-stick through USB-hub

I have a similar problem, since the update none of my thumb drives work, with or without a hub, I literally need to mount the drives manually (i.e. mount -t vfat /dev/sdc1 /media/bah). I have the problem on both the 64 32 bit versions. -- no auto-mount for USB-stick through USB-hub

[Bug 280805] Re: Latest nvidia driver for Interpid (x64) makes my fan spin all the time.

2008-10-19 Thread bubbalouie
The BIOS update has fixed the problem quite nicely for me, for those concerned about the fan being on 'all' of the time, I would subjectively say it now make less noise than it did with the A11 BIOS. -- Latest nvidia driver for Interpid (x64) makes my fan spin all the time.

From memory A10 was very quiet compared to A09 (mine was shipped with A09), but the temps were kind of scary, A11 I think was comparable to A09... In any case you should be able to regress a BIOS using the Linux tool, I did this to convert from A10 back to A09, so it may work if you find the

I can confirm this from an M1330, I am running 64 bit 8.04.1 and when I upgraded from 177.76 to 177.80 the fan got stuck on high, the only solution I have found is to regress the driver and turn the laptop off then on (a reboot is inadequate). -- Latest nvidia driver for Interpid (x64) makes my

@Kristoffer I agree with you, however, people can address the 'quasi bug' here of not being able to connect. Perhaps once this problem is fixed, the real issue that you and I are experiencing can be addressed, perhaps even in 9.04. As much as I hate to say it though, I think it will probably
