The lag you describe is usually a connection issue in my experience,
try moving the receiver closer to the mouse itself (using a USB
extension cable for example) and make certain that no other 2.4ghz
sources can interfere with the dongle

The BIOS update has fixed the problem quite nicely for me, for those

It sounds as though bluez-utils is telling your dongle to operate as a
bluetooth dongle instead of a USB HID dongle, I might be wrong, but it
may also save some time in the long run for you, please look in:
/etc/default/bluetooth
For the following line:

Add the bluetooth module to you ACPI white list.
Open the following file in your preferred editor as root (I used nano
for quickness, also, I recommend making a copy just in case there is a
mistake):

I too have this problem, Xorg will sit at 80% after my media PC has
been sitting idle for a while. I have noticed however that if the mouse
is moved around a bit (and clicked), the system will recover, even if
there was no response to the initial input.
All the same, if a machine is getting maxed

back down to zero percent again.
In my case at least, this looks like a superkaramba bug :)
