Same problem here, seeing this problem on two xubuntu 13.04 laptops. One
of which is a fresh install. On the fresh installed laptop the issue
appeared after running all updates so it appears to be some kind of
regression caused by a post-release update.

Will there be an update released for raring? I tested the saucy package
in raring and it works totally fine and fixes this issue (and I didn't
notice any regressions).

I've been seeing this too, incredibly annoying. And I've seen it on a
totally clean install of 13.04. I've seen multiple ways to reproduce it:
1. Click bookmark to mount share
2. Unmount it
3. Close the nautilus window and re-open it, the bookmark is gone.

symtoms sound similar, at first the empathy accounts work fine, and then
after a while they totally refuse to work, and trying to set one up in
UOA its just totally blank under enter account details. Maybe they

a severe bug sicne it causes tearing in common use cases like fullscreen
video. could this fix be backported to kubuntu?

same problem here. it works fine when I first boot the system. but I can
always reproduce the hang this way:
Boot ubuntu, open pidgin, see that it works fine. Log out to lightdm.
Log back in. Try to open pidgin, and see it just hangs.

When I first boot ubuntu 13.04 and open pidgin its fine. If I log out,
log back in, and open pidgin it always hangs immediately. Also tried
clearing my pidgin config and such, no help.

I ran the gsettings command from the description and it works now

I saw this today on a fresh install of today's 12.04.2 iso, happened to
firefox and gnome-terminal.
