An update - after reviewing another bug in this list, saw a reference to checking the /etc/apt/services.list file. Mine contained: deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu gutsy main restricted deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty universe multiverse deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports
