on the reporters on this particular bug we were doing desktop amd64
installs on either Ubuntu or Lubuntu. Like philinux, I also ran the
20121001 amd64 Desktop Lubuntu and Ubuntu last night and both the live
sessions were fine
Thanks for making me think here wxl. The Beta2 came out on 20120926 and
the fix here arrived 20120928. By the way i did send cavsfan a
notification to try the current live daily build and post back if it

Fortunately, I have another partition on the same computer running
powerpc 12.04 which i am using right now. It surptrised me to see that

Colors were bright and strange lime green blue but the installs

results on the network manager. The window box appears but has no data
and the lightly outlined box. Other apts are affected as well catfish,
file archiver but some work luckily pcmanfm and lxterminal seem to work

just typing my login password after I think the login screen should be
ready. The graphic are not good at all but I can get to the live

I am searching Ubuntu Software Center for the search query irc (three
letters, no quotes.) A user who is looking for a way to use IRC is
likely to try that search, and Empathy plus account-plugin-irc is a good
answer for them, perhaps the best answer for them. Therefore that answer
should show up

A user who wants to use IRC should be able to find Empathy as a way to
do so. Unfortunately, searching in Ubuntu Software Center for irc
doesn't return anything that leads to Empathy.
The first result is some client called tekka (which crashes on
startup); Konversation and
FYI - this bug still persists in 12.10 beta. I've always assumed this
was an issue between compiz and the radeon open source drivers. I have a
Radeon HD 5470.
