I was away from my computer, returned, and found Ubuntu sitting at the
login screen because X had crashed.
Then after a few minutes of using my computer after logging back in, my
computer completely froze. (Mouse, keyboard entirely unresponsive).

Hopefully it was a one time event. If it reoccurs, I will try to come up
with repro steps and test the mainline kernel. I reported this more to
capture my occurrence as a data point should others find they are seeing
the same issue.

Download rhino1_7R1.zip from Mozilla
(http://www.mozilla.org/rhino/download.html).
Extract js.jar from that zip.
Replace /usr/share/java/js-1.7R1.jar with the js.jar you just extracted.

Yesterday metacity --replace did in fact restore my mouse's clicking
capability. Today the bug happened again for me though, and metacity
--replace didn't help anything - I still had to restart X to get my

everything prior to yet another ctrl-alt-delete to restart X I decided
