so what does this mean? Will Ubuntu be able to sync with my iPod ever?
Will the fixes be uploaded to universe? Do I have to revert to windows?

For some reason, using the Ubuntu 7.04 64 bit CD it does boot and detect
the display. Not ever in any of the 32 bit versions though. Also note,
the Athereos A/B/G/N (Broadcom) included does not work. The latest beta
madwifi can use the card though.

This was 6.10. Video card is NVidia. It just would start the blank
screen saver, and then not present an unlock prompt when you came back
and moved the mouse... I could go to another tty and do a
/etc/init.d/gdm restart and the log in again... you would loose work.
