I have enabled show mounted volumes on desktop option and when I click on an inserted cd-rom, nautilus also hangs. Also the desktop hangs. But I can still open files and the ctrl+alt+t starts gnome-terminal. And I can still click on the menu bar on the top. -- You received this bug

Here's a new one. I don't remember if I captured an earlier kernel boot version by mistake in the last submitted syslog. This was done as an upgrade install from Hardy to Ibex rc. Using earlier kernel version has no effect on the issue. Also, I have run into some networking issues. It seems
