The problem that I saw is the the nautilus-cdburning process jast hangs when I
click 'burn'.
Also, when dragging files to the nautilus-cdburning files, they don't always

I can also confirm this issue on a current edgy installation.
When the webcam is plugged in on boot it always becomes device 0 and the
real sound card becomes device 1. This breaks all apps using audio.
Also, unplugging doesn't help, because then, there's not even a device 0

Confirmed problem. Actually, I am also unable to bind even "\M-f"
usefully (no matter what I put in my .inputrc, it still does forward-
word).
However, if I set the locale (via LANG) to "C", then the binding works
in console, rxvt and xterm; and gnome-terminal, *if* you also set
Terminal -> Set Ch
the same on a french cd with particular french characters ( é,è,à,ç, ... ) .
For instance, from a song called 'L'été où est-il ?' , grip creates a file

It seems that In Ubuntu Firefox Pango support is enabled for selective
locales only. Adding the line:
MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO=0
in /etc/environment
has resolved the problem for me and now I can see the Web pages in Urdu
displayed with perfect font rendering.

The gist of it is: pwc driver v9 was working but had some patent issues.
v10 in-kernel (since 2.6.12) is non-working (probably because they
removed the problematic parts). v10 from
http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/ partly-w
Syncing with Debian will fix this. The new version, 2.1.3, doesn't need
python-ctypes as a build dependency, so the python bindings can be
included again and uploaded to universe.

Well maybe it is supported but I'm getting errors on my hardware. 6.06
or 6.06.1 won't boot after a HDD install from either a live or
alternative disc.

The issue is not with write permissions in a home directory. vmplayer
wants to map your UID to a username so that it can create a file
called /tm

It seems to be a problem with HAL. Other applications (sound juicer)
which detect CD/DVD drives through HAL don't work either.
I think the error occured after the /dev/hd* -> /dev/sc* transition.
