first time, i got the well known select() to /dev/rtc to wait for clock

true - Previously (in dapper), setting this meant that the 'Desktop'
entry wouldn't appear in GTK file dialogs (as is correct, the directory

I have a problem with edgy , the screensaver starts correctly but shows only a
black screen.
I've installed edgy on an Asus 2420 laptop (sis730).

They are installed and completely up to date. But i haven't tried to
restart or shut down in several days, instead I just go into hibernate.

I have an Asrock K7S41GX/E/M/ASR mb and noticed this Problem too!
I'm moving to Simply Mepis 6.1 DVD because Ubuntu 5.10 and 6.06.1 both became
totally unusable after the upgrades! 5.10 will not even boot, because of a
