Please do not simply request a sync without attaching all the necessary

The recent update to this package seems to have fixed the issue. If I
knew how, I'd close this bug.

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 60433 ***
This morning when I installed the Kernel Upgrade for version
2.6.15-26.47-k7, I started having exactly the same problem.
There is no way the Nvidia driver will load, and you end up with a blank
screen. After doing a dmesg appears the same as above:

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rt2500
I am unable to connect to an access point (AP) and obtain and IP on an
Averatec 3200-series laptop with a built-in RaLink RA2500 wireless card.
A file is attached with configuration information and logs.
** Affects: rt2500 (Ubuntu)
The corrupted display will be fixed in usplash 0.4-25 by properly
refusing to display a theme that has no pixmaps fitting within the
requested resolution (this will just cause it to drop back to text mode
instead unless the theme is changed to add 640x480 or 640x400 entries).
The proper fix for
Sync request ACKed.
** Summary changed:
- [Edgy] Please sync with 2.4.0-1 from Debian/unstable
+ [Edgy] Please sync sylpheed-claws-gtk2 2.5.0~rc3-1 from Debian Sid (main)
