I can confirm this.
When trying to save a TIFF image, gThumb gives an error saying: "Image
type not supported: image/tiff".
This problem also exists in Eye of Gnome and you get a more descriptive
error message saying: "This build of gdk-pixbuf does not support saving
the image format: tiff".

Are you saying that the default should be to merge from stdin?
I don't think merging from the remembered location is very important:
it's probably less commonly useful than for push or pull. So I don't
mind removing it.
However, commands that default to reading from stdin can be a bit
confusing:

Works for me in Edgy; it restores the tabs from my previous session.
It's actually a Knot 2 install, but with all the up-to-date Edgy
updates, so in theory it should be the same Firefox than the one in Knot
3. Have either of you tried with a new firefox profile instead of an
existing one? Maybe

Having similar issues. Edgy, Knot 3. Evolution asks for keyring
password when initially opening up. Also having same issues that every
time I send/receive mail (POP3 _or_ IMAP) I get a dialog asking to enter
my password, even though I check save my password.

I still have the same problem with knot 3. The only way I could get it
to work properly was to install fglrx and do a dpkg--reconfigure
xserver-xorg.
