when I'm in insert mode and I want to change the current line, I press
up/down but vim-tiny puts unwanter characters (A when i hit up, B when I

Changing the dbus file did solve the problem, and the cohoba-applet became very
very slow.

As I mentioned before, this unsuccessful upgrade leaded my system to a
very unstable state, with Dapper and Edgy packages mixed. So I had to
make a clean install of Edgy in order to get things working again. So I
can't say to you if this still a problem.

I can confirm that hotkeys_over_acpi does not work in edgy, and that
ktoshkeysd crashes. It didn't cause xorg to hang on my nvidia driver,
but I can't change brightness or mute the volume since ktoshkeysd
crashed. Bug #63305 has more info on my particular situation, but its
largely the same.
I had the same problem and find this workaround (with Google help...) by
commenting out the line beginning with :

mounted partitions (2 fat32, 2 ext3, 1 xfs). On dapper before there were

When installing Kubuntu 6.10 beta and attempting to manually partition
so I can install to hde5, the partitioner doesn't see hde or hdf, just
hda and hdb. There are four IDE hard drives on the system (hdc is the
dvd-rw). When I'm booted with the live CD, I can see all five
