Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: mpdscribble
When I recently installed the edgy beta, I noticed that mpdscribble did
not get started automatically at boot time. Adding the following
symlink fixed the problem.
/etc/rc3.d/S31mpdscribble - /etc/init.d/mpdscribble

a short time it locks my keyboard and when I try to restart, it does not
restart.

[Dapper] Nautilus
I'm actually now experiencing a vaguely similar issue in KDE 3.5.5 on
edgy. The KDE Daemon can no longer auto-mount removable media (usb
flash drive, ipod nano, etc). The drives are visible in `lsusb` `dcop
kded mediamanger fullList` and also media:/ but can't be automounted.
cli works fine
thanks :)

I have tested this, and it is true that you cannot insert pictures (or
other files) over certain protocols, such as Jabber or MSN. However, you
can insert pictures (and only pictures) directly into the conversation
in other protocols such as AIM. I think that for protocols that support
inserting,
Sorry for creating noise, this seems to have been already discussed with
BenC by Soren Hansen that was told to write a spec about it:

The user-mode-linux package in Debian does not build on Ubuntu since we
carry a lot of extra weight in our kernel packages.
I've created a spec for UML's inclusion in Ubuntu Edgy+1:
