I can confirm this is happening with the Edgy RC Live CD. I have a
Toshiba Portege M500 (T2300 chipset 1.66GHz Core Duo). It's fine on the
Dapper installtion on that laptop.
I'll try the release later although the version hasn't changed.

i don't have this bug at all. I never noticed it in the past, and after
seeing this bug pop up in my inbox, I check it out. When I press the +
sign in Yakuake, I get another transparent window like it should.
Konsole works as well.
This is a 6.10 install, not fresh, been running since July, howeve
I think you need libaqbanking-plugins-libgwenhywfar38 for aqbanking
plugins. Didn't try to build the package myself, though, so I can't
verify.

Try the commands again after doing:
sudo -s
That will get you logged in as root, and from there you'll have the
permissions you need to update the /etc/modules file. (In your command
line, only the "lsmod" is covered by the sudo.) :)

In Edgy the rules are already like Marcus suggested:

But they don't seem to work. udev is 0.93. OTOH the script check_ptp_camera

OK, I tried as was described above. I used "gksudo ls | cut -d. -f1 |
xargs -n1 modprobe" and "gksudo lsmod | cut -d" " -f1 | grep windfarm >>
/etc/modules", but got a lot of errors. Is there anywhere I can post the

The Makefiles for the drbd kernel modules depend on some Bash-isms. So
when you try to build them using make-kpkg, they fail because dash is
not bash.
