Received the same error, after upgrading from dapper to edgy. (Using
apt-get dist-upgrade)
I can confirm the fix suggested in the previous comment worked. As after
the upgrade, the kernel being booted by default was in-fact linux-
image-386, rather than linux-image-generic

Hi Thomas.
This is not reproducible on Edgy .. I can scale upto 36 and back.
There were a few windows on SOME (2-4) of the workspaces - not all.
I am not sure of the number of rows - but I must have tried with 1,2 and 4.

is called "slimserver". It seems to run on many other Linux and Unix
systems. However, I downloaded it onto my Ubuntu 6.10 system and the
installation script output several error messages.
There must be a more complete way of just simply castrating kdebase of
kenergy altogether, since its functionality is all done by guidance, and
heck kenergy isn't even user-visible in any fashion.
I'd rather see that happen than any of the workarounds posted this far.

DNS servers sent by the remote PPTP connection, and only those entries.

Considering that this bug is not in upstream, it is most likely
dependent on https://launchpad.net/products/rosetta/+bug/68014 to be
fixed...
And just closing all translation bugs is a bad policy, considering that:
- most users can't change anything in Rosetta (for good reasons)
- it takes ages
I start it from a shortcut on my gnome panel, usually. Certainly the
majority of instances of this problem has been when evolution was
started like this, although I'm almost sure it's happened when it was
started from the menu. I never run it from the terminal.

I can confirm the bug in edgy.
However, I do not seem to have the option to set the status of this bug to
'confirmed'
I will try to hunt for the wrong translation and fix it as soon as have some
time left. (probabaly at the end of this week)

After deciding that I had finished with firefox I clicked on the X at
the top right hand corner of the window to close it. Before the "are you
sure you want to close because you have tabs" window could fully appear
