I have the 3 required versions of the hal files listed above, and I've
made changes to the hal.conf file to include access for the plugdev
group of which my user account is a member.

I've reproduced this panic with a virgin (kernel.org) 2.6.15.7 (I reused

By the way, I noticed that after I resumed from suspend (the first time
in the above testing procedure, the time when it worked) after I

I apologize for the obstacales that were are putting in your way to

There is a bug in apport, that has been fixed in feisty but not pushed
back to edgy.

That is the mouse works fine and the keyboard at the splash menu to

Actually, firefox crashes on a number of sites including our local news
channel, www.wgal.com, when Adobe flash 7.0 is installed. It took me a
long time to figure out what was causing that and Flash Beta 9 fixed it,
so I'd rather not remove that plug in.
In any case, after restarting firefox,
That bug has now been fixed with a hal update, and I'm having no
problems with the ipodslave. Is it still a problem for anyone?
