Dunno how smart launchpad is WRT dupes in remote bug trackers, so I'm
updating manually since the reported bug was marked a dupe.

Gnu_Raiz, the problem reported by you is known and fixed in Feisty by
making the CUPS startup script loading ppdev also if lp is already
loaded. Duplicate of bug #29050.
Andrew H, you problem is different to the one reported by Gnu_Raiz. You

According to the trac Changelog
(http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/ChangeLog), the 0.9.x releases below
0.9.6 and 0.10.x releases below 0.10.1 are security fixes.
Dapper still has the 0.9.3 release of trac, which is vulnerable. The

tried booting 2.6.20-8-generic, and I paged up and saw part of an oops,
but could not capture it.
Where's that serial console howto so I can get the oops copied...

Yes, its still a problem with Edgy and KDE 3.5.5. As I have stated
above, I'm running it from a Kubuntu 6.10 Live CD.
I will try it out with a feisty CD to see If I can repro it with that.
