default KDE, and no shutdown restart etc buttons only logout.

After searching the forums a little more I could install the drivers using
configure/make/make install, then adapted the .sh-file and then I connected not
using CUPS, but HPdirect. Works like a charm.

the file was empty. When I launch mousepad again, the file was recreate, but

Not sure of the “why”, but the reproduce part is pretty easy: Open
gcalctool, in Financial mode, and select Help or press F1.
I cannot provide any more detail other than the automatically attached

The top of the first page printed contains a small amount of corrupted
output. The rest of the page and subsequent pages in the same document
are fine.
Same effect occurs whether printing from OpenOffice or Gedit.
Printer is a Brother HL5040 using CUPS foomatic/hl1250 driver
Fixed in Feisty.
