Hello Stefan,
the exporting from dia (version 0.9.6?) to eps doesn't work at the moment.
Either dia is using some strange ps-commands or gs-esp isn't capable of
interpreting those commands?
For example: sh is now ashow in dia? and so on.
I switched to inkscape because i'm not able to wait
Oh right. I wonder if it's possible to force compiz to put them back
when the machine resumes from suspend. It's a bit ugly, but may be an OK
workaround.

I wouldn't say intense processor activity but it does make compiz jump
to 8% CPU usage here. Amarok must redraw some part of itself very
rapidly triggering a damage event. I'm thinking this should be an amarok
bug since this is just the way compiz works by design and it's obviously
amarok doing

Sometimes all the RAM and swap gets filled up and the computer slows
down until it's almost dead. With a lot of paitience I can wait for
ctrl + alt + F1 to take effect and give a commandline. Even
logging in here takes a lot of time. I then run top

Did initial steps ok, then moved to the restart Adept, prior to the full
upgrade, step. Notes follow...
Did not have Adept shutdown issue.
Always got this message at Preparing the upgrade, tried restarting
etc., nothing helped.
