screen saver, and then not present an unlock prompt when you came back

i switched to a console and invoked the lvcreate manually - the command
stoped (with no cpu activity and no hdd act.) for about 1...2min, than

In fact I downloaded and burn iso image of feisty. I just tried it one an older
computer with IDE only CdRom and HDD and it doesn't start at all : I can see a

In fact I didn't meant it to be install by users, it was for the
developper to apply on the source file and to release it like an update.

I don't know the package name but the distribution upgrader application
was running to upgrade from Edgy to Feisty. It was at the cleanup stage
removing obsolete packages when it crashed running out of memory. I ran
top and yes all physical (1.1GB) and swap (2GB) was consumed.
After just installing Feisty, I ran into this exact same problem. I
puzzled over it for quite a bit without figuring out what exactly was
expected of me. After reading the comments here, I am still very
confused. Hopefully this can be sorted out somehow.
