I'm getting the same problem on my Asus S6F laptop, with one significant
difference. Mine isn't fixed by a reboot. The only way I have been able
to resolve this is to reboot from a 6.10 live CD and then reboot back
into 7.04.

Totem (the gstreamer version) in Feisty:
*.XM (fasttracker module audio) and *.aac audio files are not listed in Open
dialog
with default "Supported files" filter, but when user switch to "All files"
filter, they
are listed and if selected, they are played correctly.
So, *.
This bug neither is necessarily caused by wpa_supplicant, nor by madwifi. For
more info and a different approach to fixing visit Bug #64173 , please.
