When installing the vmware-server package it will remove xinetd and
replace it with netkit-inetd. I am no security specialist but I think

- Installed gdesklet and gdesklet-data using synaptic
- Downloaded Dizzi's package
- Extracted 'lib' folder from the package
- Copied it onto /usr/lib/
- Tried 'gdesklet start'. Worked fine.

DId you tried with security = share? I am afraid I will reject it if
you do not provide more info why it is a bug.

Correction to my previous post 2007-05-02:
I have just had the bug occur when no media is in dvd drive (hdd). First time.
This is probably irrelevant-The only change to my system is the recent
addition of an nfs read-only mount.
However, the bug is the same as reported numerous times above ie

I rebuilt gaim with libsqlite3-dev installed now. The cap plugin got built and
works fine.
It would be nice to see it in the next gaim/pidin upload.

Hi Tom,
The only thing I did was to comment out the bit of code that check that
both a user password and a group password were given.
I believe 99.9% of people might be using both password, but for some
specific cases, network-manager-vpnc should accept that one of the
password is not informed...
I am afraid it is a configuration issue and not a bug. try looking into

Just for you to know, since I disabled the DVD drive as I mentioned
above, I haven't had any more problems :P But I cannot use the DVD drive
of course (which I don't use much thanksfully).
